Meet KP

Hi, I’m Kasonda, but you can call me KP.

I’ve never believed that style must come with a certain body or budget. I know that personally.

My body has changed dramatically throughout the years. I know what it’s like to be over 300 lbs, what it’s like to be 150 lbs, and every size in between. I know the exhaustion of searching endlessly for clothes, only to end up disappointed and not liking what I see in the mirror. But we’re not meant to do this journey alone. We all need that one friend in our corner to help us see the sassy, beautiful person we already are—wherever we’re at.

My Background

Long before KP’s Corner, fashion was already part of my world. I earned a degree in fashion and consumer marketing and spent years managing in the fashion industry. I developed an eye for the details that separate something merely fashionable from something actually worth wearing—the fabric, construction, silhouette, fit, movement, and those subtle ways a garment can either give you confidence or take it away. No matter what season of life I’ve been in, my instinct for style has always been on point.

I have experience in couture fashion, ready-to-wear pieces, and everywhere in between. I’ve styled for women whose budgets ranged from almost nothing to those for whom price wasn't even a consideration. And along the way, I learned something important:

Style has very little to do with how much money is in your wallet.

It’s about finding clothes that complement your body rather than being limited by what an industry says you have to look like. It’s about modesty without sacrificing personality, comfort without surrendering style, and getting dressed in a way that still feels unmistakably you.

THAT is why I created KP’s Corner!

I don’t want to simply fill a website and sell clothes. I want to be the shopping partner I believe women deserve—the friend with an eye for fashion who understands different bodies, different budgets, and different seasons of life because I’ve experienced them myself.
